Reflection

As a photographer, I positioned the people to show their personality. For example, for the two formal portraits I had her look into the distance because she is always thinking about her future. I had my parents smile because they are very positive people. I think my candid shots for the most part were successful because they were not looking at  the camera and it was their genuine reactions that are captured in the pictures. I think they are somewhat interesting because of their facial expressions, and just what they were doing in the moment. To get the perfect candid shot, I usually stood or sat near someone so it would not be obvious that I was pointing the camera at my subjects. I liked the editing of the final three because I learned a lot more about Photoshop and what I could do with my picture. I enjoyed the Andy Warhol portrait the most because of the different vibrant colors and learning to use the paintbrush as a word.
