I used the lighting and shadows in my pictures to make the subject stand out more, such as the silhouette picture where I took the picture with the sun behind the flowers to make the flowers darker. To improve the shots, I adjusted the whites and blacks in every picture so that there wasn't too much grey and there was a variety of shades. Black and white really makes the different shades in photography stand out and make it more dramatic. My favorite image is the close up of the shell because it has a lot of detail. My least favorite is the eye level picture because I don't think it is as interesting as the others. A positive surprise from my set is how similar they look with the contrasts of whites and blacks, because it makes them look like they belong together.
